That's A LOT of rain!

When we got home from our trip we had an inch and a half of rain in the rain gauge! I couldn't believe it! It poured while we were gone, unfortunately the hay crop is suffering because of it! How rare for us here in Southern Idaho! But what a blessing still, the reservoir is rising!!

The BIG Brown Reunion

We just got back from the big Brown reunion in Southern Utah. We had such a great time. I have only been once and it was years ago, but I have fond memories of the little time we spent there. I was glad to take Ryan and the kids to experience the good times at the Heaton Family Ranch, It was so fun!! There was never a dull moment we did lots of swinging:

Emma going higher and higher!

Ashley didn't love the swing, I am pretty sure this is the one and only time she got on it, she kept to the boat, I guess she thought it was on more stable ground????

Ryan and Justin is in there, Justin does NOT like to swing at all, but he loved to swing if he was on your lap. So we did swing a lot this way. My little tough man isn't really all that tough!

Claire Bear got her turn too.

Our fun cousin Sadie, she wasn't afraid of the swing!

In line waiting for the next turn, Ryan, Justin, Zane (Sadie's little brother) and Emma giving instructions!Ashley on the water, if the boat was ever out on the pond, she was in it. She LOVED the water, who knew?
Ashley and Dean, (Sadie's older brother)

Dean, Zane, Justin, Sadie.
Kelsey, Claire, Dean, Zane, Justin, Sadie, Emma.
The monkey bridge, this is a Papa Nielson special. He always puts one up when we go camping and it entertains for hours!!

Oh that yummy home made ice cream, we couldn't get enough!!

Justin and a little buddy Trey, they had a love/hate relationship! They fought the first day and then played and explored (sometimes a little too much) the second day. They were good buddies by the end! (as long as they didn't try to take each others toys!) This is up by the fire pit, they literally were playing in the soot from the fire, They were so dirty, boys will be boys!

Justin kicking the soccer ball

The food! This says it all about all of the yummy food! There was TONS of it! YUMMY!

Claire being mad, she probably didn't want to get off of the swing or something, I cant remember.
We intended to sleep in the tent, but a room in the farm house was open so we slept in it instead. The kids were quite disappointed. Ashley and Emma begged to sleep in the tent so Ryan slept out with them one night. It was 38 degrees and they all froze. We are not very good campers! Needles to say they slept inside the last night! The kids enjoyed playing in the tent anyway!

Justin and Ashley

Claire Bear in the camping chairs, she was dirty the whole time, but it was so fun! Playing games, we did this A LOT! This truly was a vacation, we had lots to do, but none of it was important! I love those kind of trips!

Grandma Ruby (which my kids were calling her by the end of the trip, we always called her grandma Brown, I think Ruby is such a pretty name, I liked them calling her that, I don't know what she thought?) Claire and Mom. This is a keeper!

More of the girls, they wanted a picture with all of their pink shoes! There were lots of little girls there, it was perfect for playing!

Mom and her siblings (minus Aunt Sandra, and Carolyn of course) Uncle Bruce, Aunt Kay, Uncle Mark, Grandma Ruby, Uncle Don, Mom.

The Ed Browns who were there this year, (minus my big kids who were to busy playing to take a picture) Clint, Bruce, Reece, Anne, Ruben, Kay, Hailey, Mark, Gma, Jaden, Don, Mom, Dad, Me, Ryan and Claire.Justin did not want to be in the pictures so I promised him we would take one of him upside down, crazy kid!

There we are, I am so glad we attended this year, I hope we can start making it a tradition, we had such a great time! Good memories!

I've got TALENT!

I got my mixing spoon stuck in between the beaters, and I wasn't even trying to! This is my 4th mixer this year, I think I am a little rough on them......or something!
check out the cheese on that baby!

It does still work it just bangs and clangs on itself, I am hoping Ryan can bend the beaters back in place, (keep in mind I had been at scout day camp all day), I'm exhausted! I'm going to go take a nap!

(I couldn't bear to not have a post for so long! I am working hard on a super huge gigantic post of the Big Brown family reunion that we just got home from, We had such a great time!)

We have kittens!

For some reason these kittens were in the house Sunday afternoon, I have had to threaten to give them all away if they don't stay out! (I have enough children messes, I don't need ANY pet messes!) The kids just cant seem to resist though! Justin is the meanest kitty person ever! He gets it from his dad, no wonder he is always getting scratched!

Ashley and Emma are always building some kind of house for all of them. We have been excited to have some other colors besides black, we got some white and grey ones this time! They are so cute, just A LOT cuter outside!!

Fathers Day

We spent Fathers Day at Grandma Telford's house, we had lots of fun with cousins and grandmas trampoline and Gigantic swing set! Fun summery days! Jaci Jumping

Sydney Jumping

Justins BIG jump

Jaci on the swings

Claire Bear Swinging, this custom built swing set is so nice, it can fit the smallest, or biggest of the cousins. And it has like 8 or 9 swings for all of those kids! Fun, Fun!

Emma Swinging, check out that wild hair!

Sydney pouting, she is such a pretty girl, even when she is having a little fit.

Megan, NO HANDS!

Claire, Papa helped her get her shoes on, (Jusins boots and spurs)

What a cutie!

I'm so glad when Daddy comes home!

Here is Ryan's attempt at catching our almost 2 year old (sob, sob) in her cute Sunday dress. She is such a doll, I know I am partial, but she is just so stinkin cute, I cant help but post all of her pictures! We had a nice fathers day. Ryan went to speak in another ward for church so we did it alone, and we actually survived! This was our first time totally alone, not one kid had to leave sacrament meeting once! Now Primary was a different story! We still had a nice Sunday and were glad when Ryan got home. He and Claire both looked so nice I had to snap a few. (The other kids of course were already undressed by the time he got home) We spent the rest of the day down at Gma Telfords with lots of cousins and yummy food. Happy fathers day Honey and to my dad and Gpa Telford! We love you!
