Claire decided to make a beach inside, blue water and yellow beach. They are swimming.
Rett decided (or I decided) to get on the potty train. He has done great, probably the oldest trainer and the easiest. knock on wood!

We ran up to Soldier one last time for the year. We took a fun little group of beginners! We had a blast! They all did great! Cant wait for next year!
Emma, Serena, Kaden, Justin, Jaci, and Tayson
Justin and his friend Kaden.
Justin literally pooped out. It is really a physical sport! We took a break at the lodge, but it was a very short break and we were back at it!
Serena
Jaci
Justin
Emma Sue
We are loving this new tradition because eventually the whole family will be able to all go together!

Justin had his first pack meeting and had earned his Bobcat badge. He was pretty excited, and we were too, all but this brother…..
Way to go Just!

I am afraid Claire is going to grow up and move to a far away warm beach. She loves all things warm and beachy.

Since we only have a four day week we go to school on most holidays. In Justin’s class they talked about Abraham Lincoln and created a top hat like his. Jaci happened to ride the bus to our house that day.
Fun things going on in 2nd grade!

Rett loves all trains! They moved the play place in the mall so there is no avoiding the rides. I don’t know why they did this to me!!!! Rett loves it though and we get suckered in to spending all of our quarters there. I guess that is why they moved it!

Kaden and Alaina got to come and stay the night with us. We love having them come and play. The boys worked hard on a race track and the girls played cups over and over and over…..
Fun times.

One thing about boys is they love their toys! Everyday Rett and I play something. He, well I, was getting a little tired of trains! Which we still play every.single.day!
He sure is a fun boy.

Emma painfully endured another basketball season. It is so hard for me to believe that there are people out there (well even in my house in fact) that don’t like basketball!? How is that possible!?? She says she will play next year too, I am happy. I think she secretly must like it a tiny bit?
She only had herself and Serena to play on the fifth/sixth grade team. So they combined with the younger girls and made a team of 7 I think, not many anyway. She doesn’t realize how lucky she is to get to play the entire game. She thinks it’s the worst to not have a sub! Funny girl!

We have had the Elders over every Friday night for the past 6 weeks. They have been teaching Ashley’s friend Emilee. We LOVE having them come. They are so fun! Elder Chandler got transferred and Elder Kennedy came in to be Elder Slade’s companion. It was Elder Slade’s birthday on the 16th so we had cake and ice cream.
We cant wait to have missionaries of our own, we think these guys are pretty great!

We went with the school up to Soldier Mountain to do a little skiing. It was Justin’s first time. He did FAST. Not good or bad, just FAST! So like him! Ashley braved the big hill and didn’t like it. We will just stick to the bunny hill another year I guess!
Sure wears the body out!

Emma has been loving activity days. She made this cute little bird out of play dough and we got to to to a night all about me. She was excited to show things that she likes.
She keeps reminding me that she goes into young women this year…. She is quite excited!
