Since we only have a four day week we go to school on most holidays. In Justin’s class they talked about Abraham Lincoln and created a top hat like his. Jaci happened to ride the bus to our house that day.
Fun things going on in 2nd grade!

Ashley and Emma got to perform their dance again in Christmas attire, we were glad so we could watch them, we didn’t get to go to their last dance. I sat there and recorded the entire dance and then went to take a picture of them at the end and realized I didn’t get any of it recorded. I was sad!
Here they are getting ready for their turn. (Jaci’s group was dancing, she is in the corner).
And then the end… bummer. Ash is on the right Emma on the left. They did a good job. It was pretty fun!
Jaci had a really cute dance too. She is on the right.
It will be nice to have a little break from dance, but we will be ready to go again in January!

Justin got to play king in a little play with his friend Aiyden. It was quite cute. He looked so handsome. I was beaming with pride!
Singing VIP in My Family! With Jaci.
Jaci had a cute part too. She knew all of her lines perfectly!
I cant believe we are already on to first grade!

Claire Bear and I have just been having a lot of time together it seems. She is quite entertaining! She has been really wanting a dream catcher to catch her bad dreams. (Grandma Violet got one for Justin and Claire likes it) Anyway Grandma Violet sent another one over. Claire was so excited! She put it right up and it worked really good until about the third night. I heard a jingle and then got whapped with a dream catcher. She said, “this thing doesn’t work!!!” She was so mad! It was too funny!
In all of our painting, sewing, and Little Mermaid watching, we found a shelf out in the stash for Claire’s pictures. It just needed a fresh coat of paint. We also found a frame for her picture of Christ. She was excited to show the kids when they got home from school.
Jaci rode the bus over one day. I had to make the girls stand back to back because I could tell they were getting really close to the same size. They are exactly the same! Twin cousins!
Jaci said she knew who was taller out of her and Justin. What a smart girl!
Darling picture of her, silly boy picture! Fun cousin friends!

Justin’s Kindergarten class got to go on a walking field trip. It is so nice to go to a small school in a small town. I could take all of my little kids and we didn’t even see one car on the street! Claire and Jaci held hands the entire time. I wish Claire was the one in K, well not really I wish Jaci was NOT in K and she and Claire could be together. They just love each other!
Justin insisted on pushing Rett.
He got to show and tell his sister and brother before we left the school. It was so cute to see him introduce them and what little facts he told about them. He said Claire was 3, she quickly corrected him by pulling his hand (he was holding her hand). He said “she can do her jobs, no she doesn’t do her jobs very good.” It was funny. Then he told his class that Rett can drink a bottle and that Emma was feeding him one time and she let go of the bottle and he held it himself! He was pretty proud of his little sister and brother.
Our first stop was at the city offices where they got a sucker.
Then to the fire station.
Justin with his friend Aiden.
Getting out of the truck.
Our friend Kasey. With her tiny sucker.
We stopped at the post office, took a book back to the Library and then to Pipers for a snack!
The walk back.
I had one little obnoxious boy that would NOT leave me (Rett) alone. He tried to push the stroller, he kept digging in my purse, kept touching Rett all over the face and hands, but then to top it all off he pulled his sucker out of his mouth and stuck it in Retts!!! I about GAGGED! He was a persistent little bugger. I was glad to go home and sanitize the baby! OH dear!
Jaci turned 4 yesterday! She is such a fun little girl! We are lucky to get to see her often, Claire asks almost every morning if we can go to Jaci's house! She had a yummy princess cake, and lots of fun presents!
