Christmas In Adrian

We went over to Mom’s for a Nielson Christmas.  The Freeman’s came down and we all met and had a fun few days.  Jen put on a party for New Years.  She organized a silly dinner.  It was such a fun idea!  We loved it!  Each item had a funny name and you didn’t know what you were ordering.  Claire ended her first course with jello, applesauce, ranch, and a fork!

We loved the party and cant wait to do it again!  We had a great holiday season, we are blessed!

Christmas Piano Recital

The girls finished up the year with a Christmas Recital.  They did well (we could have practiced a LOT more) but it went ok.  They are really improving in piano!  Ashley has been playing in Young Women’s every once in a while.  I am so happy for them to be pianist!

Telford Family Christmas

We had almost everyone at Grandmas house for a day.  We had a yummy dinner, stories and songs from grandpa, gift exchange, shooting, Cody’s razor rides, and good conversation.  It was a lovely day!

We couldn’t keep the boys out of Cody’s ride.  It was so fun, mostly scary, but fun!

The big boys shot, and the little’s were all lined up with bb guns shooting too!

Grandpa organized a whole program for all of this chaos!  It was great.  We learned about our family history.  It was great.

Box Collector

Claire loves boxes big ones, little ones, she decorates them, lives in them.  She just loves them.  I caught her in her box in her bed reading a book!  She even slept the night in it.  Funny girl!

Grandma’s Christmas Day

Another favorite tradition is going to grandma’s house for Christmas dinner.  Thankfully other cousins have this tradition too.  Fun times!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Day Family Picture

You would think we would be professionals at this, we are not!  Everyone was throwing a fit about a picture, including the dad!  I guess we are professionals at faking a smile!!!

AWESOME!!

Christmas Morning

Ashley was up ALL NIGHT LONG!  It was a little annoying actually!  I think next year she will get a book by her stocking and she can go back to her room and read all night instead of waking us up all night asking if its time.  Thankfully she didn’t wake the other kids, she threatened too, but didn’t.  She was ornery!

Finally at 5:30 am I gave in…..

The much anticipated magic begins…

So lovely, and neat.

The calm before the storm!

Christmas Eve Nativity

Christmas Eve was at our house this year.  The tradition of cafĂ© rio for dinner and acting out the Nativity continues on and is one of my favorite traditions!

We had donkeys, angels, wisemen, Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus.

Sometimes more than one baby Jesus?

100_2210100_2209100_2208100_2207100_2206Trying to teach our children the real reason for Christmas and the importance of Jesus’ birth and life in each of our own lives.  He is real!  He completed a great mission here on earth for each one of us to be able to live again with our Heavenly Father!  The best gift we have all been given!  Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve Jammies

Jammies are always a hit on Christmas eve!

Even Avery got a pair.

Rett was on clean up committee.

This wrapping paper was the WORST!  It was shiny and would NOT tear, everything had to be unwrapped, which was frustrating.  I wont buy that again!

100_2199100_2198100_2197

Rett’s had been wrapped and un wrapped 3 times that day alone!  He was done waiting for his dino jammies!
