Another birthday for Ryan! It happened on the same day we got home from Florida, nice birthday present for him
It’s a good thing we have so much help to light all of those candles!

This brand new pivot crashed on its first time around! Ryan was so frustrated, and embarrassed! Of course it was a pivot right on the highway for everyone to see! Sorry Honey! It took them a while to get it figured out before it could go around correctly!

One really great quality my boys inherited from their dad is cleanliness! It is so nice! I wish me and the girls had that trait!? Rett likes his trucks all clean, so he gets to wash them himself!
Now he can get to work!

Sometimes I just get tired of not seeing Ryan! So Rett and I loaded up and went to work! It was a good day to be together.

Justin begged for a dirt bike for Christmas, I finally sat down with him and told him it was not going to happen. Ryan will not buy something for one kid, if its for the whole family that is different. Anyway Justin and I decided he would save up his money like Emma did for her kindle and before he knows it he will have enough for a dirt bike. He cried, and when he sat on Santa’s lap he said he didn’t want anything for Christmas. Poor kid! Well while we were in Pocatello Ryan goes to potato school and they have an auction afterward and I guess Ryan couldn’t resist this cute little dirt bike and he bought it. Without any of us knowing. Needless to say we have one REALLY happy boy (and sisters).
Ashley will not ride it, she crashed Bode’s into Jays pond and refuses to ride, hopefully she will get over her fear soon. Not that she could have a turn anyway!

Ashley was up ALL NIGHT LONG! It was a little annoying actually! I think next year she will get a book by her stocking and she can go back to her room and read all night instead of waking us up all night asking if its time. Thankfully she didn’t wake the other kids, she threatened too, but didn’t. She was ornery!
Finally at 5:30 am I gave in…..
The much anticipated magic begins…
Claire loves her Justin!
YES! Planes, from Aunt Kristin!
Trains, stockings, tractors, monster high, clothes, shoes, toothbrushes, monster trucks, socks, and more!
We once again were spoiled and are fortunate to have so much and such a good provider for our family! We are blessed!

Ryan insists he late till the last minute to shop, I know now that he is going to do it this way every year, so I don’t fight it. We just go along with it and make a family day of it. He of course cant just go into town with only the intent of going to walmart, no no no, that would be silly! SO much to my embarrasment (not surprise, I don’t get surprised at much these days) we hauled a load to the scrap yard on christmas eve! I sure hope this tradition does NOT stick!
An ugly load… with my suburban, with the entire family inside. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry….
The joys of a farmers wife!
Justin has had this day circled on the calendar for almost a year! It finally came! Justin was so excited to be baptized. We are so happy he has chosen this and are proud to be his parents!
Looks like a future missionary!
All of my handsome boys.
Way to go Justin!! We love you!
Sunday morning I was running around like normal, my routine is usually get the kids all ready and then myself. I was headed into my bathroom, I rounded the corner and kicked the door. My little pinky toe just popped right out. It was pretty scary. Mainly because I did not want to go to the hospital!
Ashley and the kids took good care of me. I called Ryan in the middle of his meetings and he ran home (rolling his eyes). He took one look and then a deep breath and said, “oh.” I think he thinks I make things out to be worse then they are. This one wasn’t the case. He was nervous, I felt better just having him there. That is until he told me he was going to pull on it and put it back into place. He gave me a blessing, I cried and then told him he gets one chance! He did it! Thankfully! It really didn’t hurt much at all, thankfully. It is still sore today though 2 months later? I’m glad to have a smarty pants husband and great kids to take care of me!
