Double Rainbow!

We had a double rainbow!  It was so pretty!  It looked like it ended right on top of our house too, we thought that was pretty cool!  We went out to help Ryan put a new sprinkler package on a pivot and it was raining a little and then they came out.  It was so pretty!

We had to cross through a little “river” to get back out, are we the only farmers with RIVERS running through our ground?  We didn't have anything like that growing up, we made it through safe and sound!

Visits From The Tooth Fairy

We have had 3 lost teeth this week in our house! Ashley has lost two molars and Emma lost a front side tooth. Unfortunately, we really cant tell why the tooth fairy forgot to come to Emma last night? Hopefully she wont forget to come tonight. We have been at the Dentist this week also both girls have to go back to get cavities filled, I was sad, I knew Emma had two but I didnt think Ash had any, so is the life of a little girl! We are getting excited to start school next week.

Piano Recital

Ashley and I had our piano recital this month. It was fun and we were glad we could stop practicing like mad! Here are all of the students and our great teacher Margret.

Pack Trip

The guys always try to sneak in a pack trip up to the mountains before harvest starts.  This year was no exception.  They had a great time, it was uneventful, which I am always thankful for!  I'm not to sure about all of the pictures because I wasn't there, so I will do my best!

Girls Weekend!

I got to spend the weekend with a couple of girls from the past! HS past that is! We had a BLAST! I love friends that you can just pickup where you left off from, these girls are friends for life! Thanks so much for all of the giggles and fun! I'm still trying to catch up on sleep!

Rocky Ledge

No summer is complete with out a trip to Rocky Ledge, I'm not a HUGE fan, well of any river/lake water really so I am no help when we go out there. Ryan is not a fan of swimming period. So he jumps in once and then we go home. BUT tradition is tradition, and we go for that reason and have a great time! The kids love it, the Minos nibble their toes, (another reason I refuse to get in). Until next summer.......

A Ride On The Big Green Tractor

OK, so it really was a big red tractor, but it was the only way to get out to the pivot point with all of the mud!! We went out to help Ryan hook up some fertilizer in our corn field, look at how tall it has gotten. It really is a fun sight. Emma thought it would be to squishy so she stayed at the house.

More of Island Park

One day we went out to find a sweet fishing hole, I am pretty sure all of the “sweet” holes had already been found though because we never caught a thing the whole trip!  Well besides a couple little ones like this: 

We swam in the secret hole for a while too, until the leeches got too bad, there were leeches all over in Island Park, I may just prefer to go there in winter, not summer!  It didn't stop the kids though, they were going to swim no matter what! 

 

 

 

We had a great trip!  Cant wait to do it again!

At the Cabin

We enjoyed our time at the cabin, we spent a lot of time gathered around the table, thank goodness it was BIG!

   The teenagers spent some time cleaning, check out all of those shoes!!!  LOTS of cousins!

Sunday At Island Park

Sunday we went to church (with about 1200 other Mormons) It was a packed house! There is no way for them to accommodate all of the people for Sunday School and Primary so we left after Sacrament Meeting. We spent the rest of the day relaxing, eating, playing, the things you do on Sunday afternoon. Justin and some other boy cousins got to jumping over the "bears" in the living room. They were so cute, they had to take their shirts off to do it better. Claire wasn't feeling very well with an ear infection, but even she couldn't resist a turn or two!
