Cody and Whitny!!

Cody and Whitny were sealed November 4th in the Twin Falls Temple!  We are so excited for them, Whitny is a great catch!!

They did everything just perfect (in my opinion)  We stayed in the freezing cold for maybe 15 minutes to get a big group picture and then went to the wedding luncheon.  They were so considerate (and smart) and took all of their pictures the night before so we didn’t wait a minute for them (out in the freezing cold) and they were out of there before most of us were!

The luncheon was fantastic.  We had a Thanksgiving meal, which was HUGE, and very yummy!  Then they had a really fun tradition that each of the siblings got up and told a story about Cody or Whiny from their growing up.  It was really fun, we enjoyed the teasing and reminiscing.  It was a great idea!  I only took one picture of Christine sharing, (Rett started getting fussy after that.)

They also had a really nice slide show for us.  Cody of course had the BEST photography and videos, the videographer even put together some awesome shots from the temple and from their pictures that night at the reception.  Some people are SO good at what they do, it all turned out really good!  It was a great day! (It all was really nice to have a fun date to the temple with my husband!!)

The Wedding Dance

The Telford’s just love to DANCE!  We were all so excited for Cody and Whitny’s first dance.  Some couldn’t hardly stand to let them dance alone.  Luckily we had some moms to coax the children back!

The only time these two were wrestling or doing karate!  They LOVE to wrestle and never complain or cry when they get hurt, they just love it so much!  It does look like they are still trying to wrestle/dance.  Fun boys!  (Braden and Justin)

Almost Ready!!!

I'm too busy to be blogging, I just cant stand that I haven't all week!!  We are getting all the finishing touches done for this wedding and reception!  We cant wait to be with family this weekend and to get our special Uncle Cody all hitched!!  I have been gathering shoes, dresses, ties, etc. today we have an early morning tomorrow so I needed to get it done today.

Must keep busy or I wont get it all done!  {Ryan finished digging all the sugar beets last night!!  Even the neighbors!  I don’t think there is one person he knows who has any left to dig, I’m pretty sure he called them ALL!  SO there is nothing he can do but park his digger for another year!!!  He had his annual stomach ache this morning and slept in really late, but is back to the grind this afternoon.  We are so glad to have our Dad back!!}

The girls have a recital coming up and have been practicing quite a bit.  Emma is getting really good, she can practice so fast it is amazing!

Halloween

This year we were on our own for Halloween.  Ryan hasn’t missed a halloween in quite a few years.  It was hard to do it alone, thankfully Rett slept during our driving around so I didn’t have to get him in and out a hundred times.  It was a fun night!

Kindergarten Halloween Party

Kindergarten has the most fun tradition of making “witches brew.”  We love our kinder teacher!  She assigns each of the kids something yucky to bring and they sing along with a song as they each get to dump in their special ingredient.  Justin had fingernails-nasty!  He thought it was great!

The K kids do a parade around the school to show all of the teachers and older kids their costumes, another fun tradition!  Justin had a great time at his first class party!

I have been meaning to measure these two girls since Claire’s birthday we got it done last night.  Can you tell who is who?

They are EXACTLY the same height.  Not even fudging a little, I couldn’t believe it!  At the end of the summer Emma was almost a half inch taller, Ash has hit a little growth spurt I guess!  Emma was determined to be taller, Ashley was determined Emma wasn’t going to be taller!  I have a feeling they will be battling it out like this for the next couple of years!

Rett is loving mashed potatoes, he ate lots of them yesterday.

Ashley decorated four cakes that we used for the school carnival cake walk.  She also decorated one at school.  She is just naturally domestic, which is really nice because she is a lot of help!
