Rett somehow got a chance with the ipad, that is rare!
I always quiz the kids during Sunday dinner about their lessons and the talks. While I was quizzing Justin and Claire were thinking of other things….
Crazies!

Emma was in charge of Sunday dinner. Her chicken turned out beautiful and delish! She did a pretty good job! I have figured out if we are going to be on time then the girls are going to have to do some of the things I have always just done on Sunday mornings like, get the dinner in the oven. Plus they are learning how to make a nice meal. They both really like to do it, that could be because the other one has to do pick up or dishes!
We had Ward Conference, it was nice to have the Stake leaders there. The talks and lessons were great. Rett and I wrestled pretty hard through Sacrament meeting, but we didn’t have to leave, I wouldn’t really call it a success though…. He is a wild child!
We were making cookies Sunday afternoon until Rett dumped out all of the baking soda!
He was pretty upset that I would sweep up and throw away his fun!

Halloween snuck right up on us and we didn’t get the pumpkins carved! We couldn’t let those expensive beauties go uncarved so we carved them a week late, bet late then never??
Rett rarely takes a Sunday nap, but I guess he decided to climb in with me and his Dad last week. Ryan must not have been asleep yet and caught us snoozing!
I can sleep with one ear open, and heard that camera and woke up, Ryan wasn’t happy that I did. But a girl has to know when her picture is being taken!

Rett and I stayed home from church. Rett caught a quick acting cold that made him real sick real fast, but was over quickly too, thankfully. Since I didn’t have to get ready or Rett we had time for a quick photo shoot with the girls and Justin. Justin is getting pretty ornery in his approach to becoming 8 years old. Im not happy with him lately, and hope he outgrows his unkindness spell!
The girls are pretty frustrated with him lately also.
Grandma Violet picked the kids up for church, Ryan was in at early meetings already. They sat perfectly on the bench for her an didn’t so much as wiggle a nose. I think Grandma Vi should sit with them every week! I really do not like missing church and today was no exception. Hopefully we wont have many more absences this winter.

We came across Rett’s little suit. I love a little boy in a suit. I think they are both so handsome! Two little missionaries!
Love these boys!

Ryan wanted his birthday to be celebrated in true Telford fashion, which includes, spin the bottle, hand stands, donkey kicks, push ups, and lots of other crazy tumbling skills. (that we don’t really posses)
The girls tried and tried, and have still been trying for weeks to get this handstand thing down.
Ryan won that competition by a long ways, he’s still got it!
Claire was super helper with the presents.
Heavy, heavy, hangover.
Emma still trying…..
Chocolates!
A spotting scope.
And partially eaten/destroyed birthday cake!
I wonder who the guilty party could be????
Ryan insists that I cant buy the kids “big things” like bikes unless its Christmas or their birthday. Claire’s hand me down was not going to work for the summer so I thought we could get her a bike for Ryan’s birthday??! I thought that was a clever idea.
Claire was definitely pleased!
Rett loves to ride anything anywhere anytime!
He is due for a new ride also! Happy Birthday to Ryan!
