Soccer Week 2

We had great weather on Tuesday for soccer, the kids were sweating to death!  Justin is right in the middle of this group check out his WIDE OPEN mouth!  He is going for it!

Ashley and Emma weren’t on the same team, they switch it up every time.  They only went against each other once though, I think they avoid each other when they aren’t on the same team, kind of funny.

Rett got tired of sitting and wanted to push.  I can usually keep him entertained with crackers and snacks.  We are enjoying soccer!

Rough Night!

Claire Bear had all the lights on in the middle of the night (which isn't out of the ordinary).  I heard Ryan tell her to turn the lights out and she told me she had a bloody nose but I didn’t listen very good.  She is up in the night quite frequently just doing whatever she wants, so I didn’t listen to her like I should of.  This bloody nose was worse than normal too.  Anyway, bad Mom= Messy tired girl in the morning.

Thankfully she slept the rest of the night in my bed even though I didn’t know anything was wrong with her.  Poor kid!

Sunday Shots

The girls usually get up and go to church early with Ryan, but there was no choir practice so they could stay home and help me get kids ready.  Well I think it just lead to more playing than usual on Sunday morning, and we were not as early as I would have liked to have been!  Oh well, it was still nice to have them around.  Justin figured out he could pull little brother around in the little wagon.

It worked good at a slow pace, but not so good when they started going faster and faster like brothers do! 

Emma had one of her tummy aches and was cold so she had her big old coat on with her Sunday dress.  Thankfully she worked through it and lasted through all of church.  I think she may have just been hungry, she is still adjusting to fasting.

We spent the evening at Bobby and Sara’s celebrating Jaci’s birthday.  I forgot to take my camera, but it was a great time.  We are always excited to play with cousins and the Dads got some good kid time and R&R.

Church was great, I always like fast and testimony meetings.  We live in a really great Ward.  Sunday cant get here fast enough!

Domestic Ashley

Ashley wanted to make a pie really bad on Saturday, we only had one kind of pie filling in the pantry so pumpkin it is!  She did such a good job and it turned out so pretty and baked perfectly!

I helped her with putting in ingredients and forgot one MAJOR one!  No sugar!!  I felt so bad, I ruined her awesome pies!  Both of them!  The kids each tried a piece and then we realized what I did, the rest got thrown out!  I am such a scatter brain!!  So frustrating!!

Little Trims

Claire has been due for a little trim for a while.  I finally just sat her up and did it.  It is so hard and hurty to brush all of those curls!

Rett got a trim too, I just did his sides I want to try to grow out his top a little.  I don’t know what we are doing with his hair yet, I would like to not HAVE to buzz it.  I am hoping we can embrace the cowlick!? (is cowlick really spelled with cow in it??) We are just experimenting still with him, and he would NOT cooperate for a picture.

Finally he fell into the crack between the wall and the bed so he couldn’t move, but that sad face didn’t make for a very happy picture, oh you poor baby!

He is still not “approved” to go down the stairs by himself.  He does really good and then he will fall down the last four.  I wish he could just get it so we could not have to worry anymore, and the gate is such a pain!!  Little stink!

GOAL!!!

It was just raining lightly at soccer Thursday night, can you see the rainbow in the distance?

Emma decided to play.  She also was very willing to volunteer to take time out on the side lines,  I hope she gets more into it.

Justin scored two goals this time.  I missed them both!  It is too hard to watch two games, a red head, and feed a baby all at the same time!  He was super excited!  He was much quieter this time too, he wasn’t as bossy!  It makes our after school time really short, but we sure are enjoying the exercise!

Spring Soccer

Justin and Ashley signed up to play Spring Soccer.  It is over in Dietrich this year.  Ash was the only fifth grader, it is rare, (ok NEVER) has she been the big man on the field.  Another 5th grade boy came later.  She was glad.  She did great and even scored a goal.

Justin did great.  He has a very distinct loud voice so I could hear him telling everyone that’s not out, or that is in, or that wasn’t a goal, etc.  He is pretty sure he is the BEST soccer player ever born!  He did do pretty good and was all over that ball the entire time, Mr. Know It All!

Claire wanted to go down this slide SO BAD, but she was too scared.  Finally I went over and helped her go down once, that was all it took, she was very entertained the rest of the time.

By the end of soccer Emma said she wants to play.  I think she was bored watching.  I don’t know if I want to pay for her to stand out in the middle of the field and look around or not.  She just doesn’t want to run, what kid doesn’t like to run?  I am sure she will be signed up on Thursday.

Rett tolerated it ok, he just has no boundaries and crawls wherever he wants to go.  He spent a lot of time in the stroller by me.  Wild boy!

Rapunzel

Claire Bear asks for Rapunzel hair every day.  It is two twists on the side down into one big long twist.  I even let her put on make up.  Actually I have been wanting to try some mascara on those orangey eyelashes!  She looks just like a princess!!

Lunch Date

Claire’s favorite thing to do lately is to haul around the camera.  She caught me and my lunch date this afternoon.  I LOVE farming for this reason right here!!

Now if it would only happen more often I could love farming every day!

No Bueno!

Ryan’s guys laid all of our lines out on Saturday!  Lines = WORK!  I am not ready to move lines!!!  We are raising hard working kids! (I keep telling myself)
