In Claire Bears room! This girl is so BUSY! She unloads all of her drawers and toy boxes in 3 minutes FLAT! It is really quite frustrating actually. Good thing I like this little red head!

Adventures in Grandmas BIG Van!
We borrowed Grandma Telford’s big van while our suburban was in the shop. We had a BLAST in that big ol thing! I only drove it one day and almost got stuck taking lunch to Ryan. The kids thought it was pretty amazing that I could get us un-stuck, Justin said “Mom Power!” It was pretty fun! We got a little, well a lot muddy!
Some of the things I heard while the van was on loan were;
This van is FANCY!
Can we ask Grandma how many dollars this van would cost us?
Can we borrow this van for the trip to Bear Lake?
Can we go out and play in the van?
This van is AWESOME!
We have had a lot of fun memories and trips in the big brown van, the odometer can prove it, 325,000 miles of fun! We were happy Grandma let us borrow but I was glad to get my suburban back!

BOYS!
Boys will be boys, this is what happens when a naughty boy gets sent to his room for time out:
He stuck his arm in the ball popper and got it stuck, he was not in pain but got upset when we were laughing at him.
It was stuck on pretty tight, I had to undo some screws to get it out. He (hopefully) wont be doing that again any time soon!

Gardening
We have been spending a lot of time in the garden lately. Claire Bear got dressed for the occasion;
Her tap shoes were so small she couldn’t pull them off, OUCH!
Rett trying to stay out of the sun, I burned his little cheekeys. Poor boy!
The new garden,
Now I just have to figure out how to grow something in it! I had to replant all of my seeds, I hope they will sprout and grow fast.
The kids are making all sorts of holes and ditches to run water in. It is so fun to play in the water!

Picnic
We had a picnic today out in the field with Ryan. The sun was shinning!
Ryan took a load of kids for a round or two while Emma and I cleaned up the picnic.
They all wanted to stay but only Ashley got to. Justin and Claire like it for a while but then they get bored, trust me I know from experience! It was a fun afternoon and Ashley really enjoyed the time with her Dad.

Slip N Slide
It was ALMOST warm enough Friday to play in the water. Justin and Emma had to try out the slip n slide.
Ash tried it once with all of her clothes on and that was enough for her. Rett is there under all of those blankies. Claire bear was streaking around so I didn’t take any pictures of her.
I think it might be time for a bigger pool;
Summer please come soon!

Swimming Lessons Come To An End
We are sad to be done with swimming lessons. The kids all progress so much over the two weeks and then we quit going every day and loose our awesome swimming skills. I guess I just need to keep taking them swimming. They all passed on to the next level, Justin and Claire will be level 2 and Ash and E will be level 4! The weather was cold most of the days but Friday was really nice finally! Ash is doing her favorite, the back float:
Emma;
Emma’s splash, I never got a picture of them jumping in I am to slow, but I got lots of good splashes…..
The girls LOVED their teacher he was fun for them. Ashley jumped off the “high dive” (it is actually the life guard stand) She is so brave, she loved it too! Cant wait again for next year.

Ranching
We helped Ryan gather and move cows this week. I think we do this at least weekly. It is a fun family activity though. Ryan makes Ash and Emma stand in tough places and push the cows, they are working girls! Claire says she will just watch because she is scared of cows, I tell her I am too!
Ryan and his crew gathering the heifers.
It is so fun to work together as a family!

Like Christmas!
The kids keep reminding me that Rett needs his baby toys so I finally went out and got them. It was so fun to open the tote, it was like Christmas morning!
The person who was supposed to be most excited didn’t even crack a smile though! The toy I needed for him I think I got rid of…..me on one of my de-junking sprees I'm sure…..
I am going to have to buy him a new mat to lay on with toys hanging down. He loves the mobile on the swing so I think he would really like one of those. Everyone else found something they could play with too, how fun!
Even the big girls!
