On The Water

Jen and I got roped into a tube ride.  It was pretty wild, Doug promised he wouldn’t dump us off, he did really good and we tried our hardest to stay on.  I'm so glad Kiley captured it all for us, here we GO!

The boat came to a stop so we could start smiling again!  What a fun/scary trip around the lake!  I'm so sore from holding on for dear life!  I'm pretty sure I will stay off the tube from now on,  I so don’t like it, and here is the proof!  Fun times!

Bear Lake

This years Nielson family Reunion was at Bear Lake.  We spent the day out on the water, the weather was perfect!  I have not been on the water since high school and it showed, but it was SO FUN!  I tried out the knee board for the first time, it was my favorite!

Thankfully Erica and Doug were willing to drag their boat all the way to Idaho for us!  It was so fun!

Lagoon 2011

This years Lagoon trip was great.  Kiley and Jason came with us and enjoyed their first time there.  It was slow starting out, but by the end of the day we were sad for it to be closing!  Ryan and the big kids were on Tidal Wave;

We got a little whip lash on the bumper cars, but we always go back!

YES!  More bumper cars!

Claire loves bumper cars, she didn’t exit the ride after it was over and went for another round, she was happy!

Then she couldn’t get her car to go and got sad,

The ride attendant stopped the whole ride to help the crying little girl,

Now she was happy!

Rett was EXCELLENT!  He was such a happy boy and awake a lot of the time, we train them young to love Lagoon!

They were a little braver than me!  They had a great time!  We were glad the Bagley’s could share our tradition with us this year!  Cant wait till next year!

Sunday Shots

I appreciated Church a lot more this week since I didn’t get to go last week, Emms was sick so she and I stayed home.  The lessons were great in both classes, what I got to hear of them.  Rett was fussy in Sunday School and I had to go talk to Claire's class about babies and how much I love my baby.  It was pretty cute, they were all over Rett wanting to see his toes and checking him out. 

We were hoping to have a nice quiet afternoon but ended up here:

Ryan's guys always borrow his pickup to go to Wal-Mart on their day off.   Well they were coming home and a truck passed on the big curve and lost part of the load right onto Ryan's pickup.  Thankfully no one was hurt.  The worst part was the other guy stopped, then just took off again.  They think he was a scrapper with a wild load spilling all over.  We are so glad it hit where it did, Carlos said he had to swerve or it would have come right through the middle of the windshield, that could have been devastating! 

Just last night Ryan told me he was going to get a new pickup this fall, maybe a little sooner than he thought! 

I love moving the lines on Sunday, the whole family goes out (plus Ryan does most of the work so I don’t have too)  I had to take a picture with my pretty girls, who looks this good at work!  They even had bows in their hair!  I on the other hand was sacrificing fashion for coolness…… I'm a lost cause!

Claire Bear waited patiently for her ride home, Rett was in the pink stroller too.

Just figured out how to ride his 2 wheeler.  It took two pushes up and down the road and he got it.  He is pretty excited for himself!  Now he can ride to the bridge with the girls instead of running behind!

Some of the best news of today is that Kiley and Jason made it to Arco, I am in such suspense, they have been there all weekend and we still haven't seen them yet!  We are planning to meet up at the parade in the morning.  Then we will get them for the rest of the week!  We are going to Lagoon and then on to Bear Lake with the Nielson family.  We are so excited!   We are really hoping for an afternoon nap next Sunday, but Im not holding my breath!  Love my family day!

Claire has been wanting to spend more time with her little bro lately.   She was all sacked out in his chair and she made room  for her little buddy.

Summer Activities

We have been enjoying our warm weather this past week.

FIREWORKS!

We had some leftover fireworks from last year so we set a few day time ones off the other day.  Ryan was around to light them so I could take pictures.  Here is a blue smoke bomb, and my weedy sidewalk;
