Ryan made me take mug shots of the kids before we left for Lagoon, just incase we lost somebody. If that isn’t enough to make a person worry!
Thankfully no one was lost all day!

I finally took a trip up to the cattle ranch in Arco that we have owned for two years now. It was a great drive. It is really pretty right now especially since the grass is all green. Here in a few more weeks it probably will be pretty dry looking.
These first two pictures are driving to it.
The next pictures are of parts of it.
The cows were being moved from the BLM part of it up into the forest section. We didn’t help move the cows, but we caught up with them to ride a little and then have a hot dog roast afterward.

We finally had a good day to play with our neighbor cousins. The weather has been sunny and warm, perfect for sliding!
Summer can you stay all year??

Justin has been wanting a mohawk for a while so I told him I would cut one for him after family pictures. Unfortunately he remembered and so I buzzed him a mohawk!
It will be buzzed off before church Sunday!

Claire begs and begs for a hair cut, a REAL hair cut mom, not just a trim! I have been having the hardest time keeping it under control. It took me 45 minutes to brush out the matted do last week. SO off it went! I am still not sure I should have, but at least it can be brushed now. And she had enough to be donated! 8 inches of red curly hair, what a treasure!
Super short!
Hopefully super manageable! She is still pretty darn cute though! And that hair is still as orangey red as ever, it was shinning in the sun bright red today! Where did it come from?

Ryan gave Claire the job of organizing our shoes, so she did! Right on the floor where it was easy, instead of in the closet!
What a good girl!

The little kids got in lots of stick horse rides, roping, and goat tying.
Claire was determined to ride a calf this year. She was all suited up and ready but the calves were a no show so she didn’t get her chance. Hopefully she will change her mind about trying next year, I hope.
I kept the sunscreen on everyone and was so worried watching this red face get more and more red.
He would not stop though, so he ran, and I chased. Thankfully it was just a hot red face. When we got home and cooled off he wasn’t sunburned at all. Just so busy!
Ryan and Aaron got to rope together in the alumni team roping. It didn’t go to well. Ryan missed.
Emma getting ready for the hide race with Uncle Aaron’s help.
At the end of the day, hot, dirty, tired, and checking out the parade candy loot! It was another successful Outlaw Day!
