Ashley’s Cheer Camp

Ashley went to a stunt cheer camp earlier in the month, she had a great time.  She is loving cheer and gets to be co-captain this year.

Grandma’s House

We took a quick trip over to grandma’s house to go with Kurtis to the temple.  It was a great time. 

We are happy to get to make quick trips often!

Pipe Movers

Ashley and Emma finally learned to move the pipe by themselves.  I think it may have to do with $$$.  Whatever works!  I don’t know many 12 and 10 year old girls who move pipe I think it’s pretty cool!

Justin just caused too much conflict out “helping” them so he and Claire got some good jobs done around the house when the girls would go out to move pipe.  I can never have my walls and baseboards too squeaky clean!!

I love all of the summer time work!

Lagoon Riders

We were nervous to bring Rett along on our trip, he is not patient and likes to run, but the lines were short and Rett LOVED the rides!

Rett won a nice two hour nap!  It was perfect for his second wind that he needed for the evening.

Waiting in line for the wild mouse.  Claire went on this one and did not like it, but then wanted to go again as soon as she got off!

Claire is getting pretty good at the kiddie rides.  She could figure out how to operate them.  She went on every ride while Rett was asleep.

Even Rett could go on it.  I was nervous he would stand up and try to jump out of every ride, but he did good, and Claire and Justin held on to him sometimes too.

We discovered this awesome train museum that we had never seen before.  We could not get Rett to leave, he LOVED all the trains.

A new ride this year, tipsee teacups.

Everyone did really good staying together and not getting lost.  The big kids did go off on their own a little this year.  It was nice to be able to let them go when we didn’t want to.

Claire did so good on the bumper cars, she didn’t want to drive them because she couldn’t figure it out the last time we went two years ago.  This year she did so good, it was funny to see her drive by herself.  They both laughed and laughed.

This new ride was my favorite of the kiddie rides, Rett loved riding in the truck trucks too.

What a fun day!  We cant wait to go again next year!

Lagoon Splash Park

Lagoon always starts in the splash park for our family.  They let us in the park 15 minutes before the rides open, so we spend some time getting wet before the rides.  The weather was perfect!  It was about 80 degrees, and sunny.  We were glad to not have rain, or 100 degrees like we do most years!

I did the worst thing I could do and forgot my camera, so all the pictures are pretty bad from my phone. 

Lagoon Family Pictures

Ever since we started going to Lagoon I have wanted to get our “western” family pictures taken, so this year we did. 

It was pretty fun dressing up in the old clothes, the girls wanted to take their costumes home!

I didn’t buy any digital prints, so I had to take a picture of the picture.  What a fun treasure for us!
