12*12*12 AWESOMENESS!

Justin had his birthday on this awesome day!  Some days I worry because he isn’t my little boy anymore, but this morning he was so darling and so kind giving me lots of hugs, kisses, and I love you’s.  He was pretty excited about his fun presents.

I’m not sure if Legos is a good idea or not?  They will be fine as long as I’m not stepping on them!

Trying to think of a wish for the giver….

Birthday pancakes.

He got Lightning Mqueens again this year, I think this may be the last birthday for him and Cars and Thomas.  Ryan assured me it would be ok because Rett is just getting started into all of that.  I am not liking this boy growing up!

Emma’s Party Day

Emma had three requests, Barnes and Noble, Justice, and a 3-D movie.  What a lucky girl to get to do all three with two of her best friends, Ashley and Serena.  Emma just loved the smell of books in the book store, she had never been there before.

The movie was good, it was the Life of Pi.  It was just kind of different and the glasses weren’t very comfortable but it was still a pretty good treat!

It was a fun girls day out, Emma was quite satisfied with herself.

Gingerbreads

We did it.  We took time to make gingerbread houses!  I dread this and the kids beg for it every year.  I had to change my bad attitude and take a minute to sit down and help decorate.  And guess what, it wasn’t that bad at all…. dying Easter eggs is still by far the worst!

Barn Maid

Poor Claire Bear looked like an old barn maid coming in from chores the other night.  I had to take her picture she was too cute… until she wet her pants.

The poor girl came in for a reason and I distracted her with the camera.  Nice one Mom.

Vs. Ketchum

Ashley got lots of playing time in the game against Ketchum.  It was really fun to watch.  She is on defense here.  (our awesome babysitter Whitney is the ref)

Grandma Visits = Lots of Applesauce

Mom came and helped me (well she did most of the work) make applesauce.  We canned for two days between basketball games.  I was sick and tired of it.  Thankfully Ryan came along Wednesday night and helped her finish it up.

We figured we did over 100 quarts.  It looks pretty and tastes good!

Emma’s Birthday Cake

Emma wanted a round cake, Justin called it a donut.  It worked.

Emma’s wish; to ride a unicorn, I will be sad when she outgrows this wish that she wishes on EVERYTHING!  I am glad she is still a little girl!

Our busy day is showing, ballets and laundry on the table!

Emma’s Lunch Date

We went in to have lunch with Emma at the school.  This is my favorite part about birthday’s.  It is fun to see all of the kids and everyone wants to sit by us.  We always have a good time.

Birthday Morning

This year for Emma’s birthday she wanted to go shopping and to a 3-d movie.  She didn’t get much on her birthday because we were going to go out on Saturday.  She did open a littlest pet shop and a purse to carry her ballets in.

We blew up some animal balloons, but mostly only let them go and didn’t really create anything.

Somehow we all managed to jump out of bed bright and early!

Emma is really growing up.  She is turning into quite a beautiful young woman.  She is a happy fun girl and we love her very much!

Sunday Shots

Bob and Sara came over to watch the First Presidency Christmas Devotional.  Emma got the train going under the tree and the little boys watched it go around and around.

The devotional was excellent.  We had a nice time getting together.
