Ashley is trying to claim the driver seat whenever I let her.  She is growing up way too fast!

TOFW and Girls

April invited Ashley and I to meet them in Utah for Time out for women and girls.  We were excited to go!  Ash has never been to Ikea, and well Ikea is NOT on the way to Logan from Idaho, but it is in Utah, we went down early so we could shop and then go back to Logan.  We had fun at Ikea but didn’t even spend $100, so I don’t know if you could call it successful?  Ryan would though!

We drove back north to Logan.  We met April, Shannon, and Brookie at the temple.  We had a little photo shoot for the girls temple books.

We went back to the hotel to swim and get ready.  Then spent the night and next day in classes.

We did have a great time and it was fun to see family.  thanks for the invite April and Brooke!

Justin

Justin is the only kid in our family who knows how to do his own hair.  He likes doing it every morning too. 

I think I have done a bad thing not letting the girls do their own hair.  Now they cant!  I guess I am going to have to let go and let them do it on their own….

Daddy Daughter Date!!

The girls had their annual Daddy Daughter Date.  They were so excited!  Emma actually invited Uncle Bobby too so she would have her own dance partner.  Ryan was a little sad,he wanted to go with both of his girls, but I know they took turns with dancing partners, they all had a great time!

I am so glad Ryan got off the tractor early to take his girls on a date!  They will remember and love him for it!

Christmas Toys

We have been enjoying our new Christmas toys.  The girls created a marble tower and took lots of pictures of their creations.

We also puzzled for a week, we were not successful in finishing it before I made them clean it up.  It was ONLY on the table for a week!?  Fun new toys!

Full Weekend

We had a full weekend, it turned out really great though!  I put on a bridal shower for Danielle, (a girl in our ward) and had to get all of the food and everything done early Saturday morning.  Thankfully my girls are getting to be such big helpers, they were helping with the fruit pizzas here, while I was finishing getting ready, it is SO nice!

My babysitter fell through so I had to take all of the girls with me, Ryan took Justin to work, so we had to have hair and everything done early too.  Thankfully they get up early pretty easily. 

The girls had a party of their own to go to (half way through the shower).  They got invited to Kasey’s Tea Party.  It was a HIT!  My girls LOVED it.  Jolene always goes all out, and this super fun tea party was NO exception!  It was so cute!

They had a blast, I was thankful they had a place to go for part of the shower.  Sara helped me out a ton too, she ran the girls around and brought me all sorts of things that I forgot at home, besides helping me decorate.  I don't know what I would do with out her! 

We had a few people at the corn maze Saturday afternoon, it was raining and cold so I was glad to get to stay in.  Some of my girls came though, Danielle, Johanna, and Angie all came and tried out the maze, it felt just like old days when they would all come over and hang out at our house, they are growing up and getting married, or are already married, it is crazy! 

Ryan even came home early, it had rained a little, but I think he, and his crew just needed some time off.  We did finish our own beets though!  YEA!  We are done harvesting for the year!  Now he is just helping a neighbor get his beets out.  Hopefully only a couple more days now!
