Sunday Shots

I wanted to take a family picture, we haven’t taken even one since Rett was born.  This is what we got with the timer on the camera, check out Rett he is looking right where he needs too, good boy!

I liked this one best, either way I am glad we have something with our new family!

We went back down to Grandmas to wrap up our family vacation.  Claire and Jaci were in the same outfit and we didn’t even know we had the same outfit, it was funny!  They like being twin cousins.  Sydney is also in the picture.

Uncle Cody and his girlfriend Whitny, Cody was being a goof, but Whitny looks cute!  They make a cute couple and it was fun to get to know her a little more.

Rett was trying to cool off, it was a hot day, close to 100!

Ryan's cousin Matt  from Utah came Sunday night.  He was instantly popular with his BIG pickup and super fast four wheeler!

We went home completely exhausted and happy, we cant wait until next year!

Family Vacation Saturday

We all stayed the night out at Grandma’s in our tents, it was fun for us all to be able to stay together.  We drove out to the Shoshone Ice Caves Saturday morning where we met up with Jake and Jessie, they got to spend the rest of the day with us it was nice.  I'm not sure the ice caves were the best idea for 23 little grandkids, but no one fell in the icy water so that was good!  We took some pictures while we waited for our tour to start.

We went back out to grandmas for lunch and games after the caves.  It was nice to just lay around and relax a little.  That NEVER happens on Grandpa’s farm, it is always work, work, work!

We played some minute to win it games.  I know the favorite one was trying to get the Oreo from your forehead to your mouth not using your hands!

We had to do some baby comparing too.  This is Rett next to baby Paxton, they are about 2 months apart (I think)

And then Kyler, Rett, and Paxton, and soon to be Jen’s little princess!  She will be the same age as all of these little boys!  Poor thing!

 

It’s amazing what a difference a year makes, Rett and Kaleb are exactly a year apart!  Kaleb wanted to pet all of their heads.

We concluded most of our Activities Saturday night, but of course had to go back down for Sunday dinner.  The kids played SO hard, they were so exhausted and ornery!  We still haven’t quite recovered from all of the play!

Family Talent Show

We had a talent show Friday night of the family vaca.  It turned out great.  Our kids did a pirate tune.  Ash played the piano and the other kids sang, Ashley organized it all, she did a good job, they were cute.

Claire and Jaci sang Praise To The Man.  They did excellent, they have the BEST music leader in Primary!

We had such a variety of talents in our family, it was great!

Telford 2011 Reunion

This year we stayed home on the farm for our family vacation.  It was fun to have everyone come to Grandma’s house (maybe not so fun for Grandma) but fun for the rest of us! We spent the first afternoon in Arco working in Jared and Jenna’s yard.  They have a beautiful house and yard, but it has been a rental for quite a few years now and no one took care of it.  It has some great landscaping and trees and bushes but they were all wild and un kept.  Pretty overwhelming for anyone, let alone a young couple due with their first baby!  SO we went and worked and worked and got a lot done, not all by any means, I wish we would have had more time.  All of the kids tried their best to work, but there was lots of fun to just play with cousins too.

What a hard working family!  I'm so glad everyone was so willing to work during our “vacation.”

Getting Ready!

We have been getting ready for our Annual Telford Reunion.  Ryan and I are in charge this year, I think, I KNOW, I like them better when we are not in charge!  Anyway the kids were just thrilled with all of the fun not normal purchases we made, like soda!  Woo hoo!

They made all sorts of pyramids, towers, and queens chairs out of the soda, silly kids.

I pulled him out and went back in the kitchen and heard him grunting and groaning and found him rolled over like this.

He is a roller already!  Luckily we haven’t dropped him off the couch or bed……yet!   What a busy boy!

Cows Out!

We were so excited to finally get some animals to eat down our pasture but now they wont stay behind the fence.  They get out in my lawn and destroy it!  It is so annoying!  This morning they were pushing through the fence so I sent out two of my best cowboys to scare them away from the fence.  Bella helped too.

The kids have been enjoying the Summery days.  They run in the sprinkler almost daily, its so nice!

Jenna’s Baby Shower

Last week we had a baby shower for Jenna.  It was so fun to see all that PINK!  Jenna is so ready now to have that little princess!  Claire Bear stayed home to help me with all of the preparations.  All of the other kids went to work with Ryan (well to Grandma’s house anyway)  Claire went and found her own glass container to attach a tag too.  She was so cute she made me put my finger on the ribbon while she tied the knot (just like I made her do on my ribbons)  She was great help!

The shower turned out great, there were lots of guests and Jen got lots of cute things for the new babe, she was so excited, it was cute!

We had milk and cookies for refreshments, they were a hit and we had lots left over so the husbands were happy!

At the last minute Claire Bear got to come with  me, my babysitter didn’t get home from Grandmas in time.  She had a fun time playing with all of Sicily's toys.

Now we just wait for our new little niece to be born, we cant hardly wait!
