SO Big!

I feel like this little boy is growing a ton lately!  He is getting so smiley and fun.  He is being a MUCH happier baby which is making me a much happier Mommy! 

Ryan took the all of the kids to the movie tonight so I am home alone and able to enjoy this little man and a little quite time too!  Claire bear even went, I hope she is not to wild!

Remembering

Sara sent a picture of Kollin’s headstone today.  I'm thankful to Sara for taking such good care of it, it looks beautiful today.  We sure miss him today, and every day.  Love you brother.

Rett’s Blessing Day

I didn’t get many pictures taken, here are some of the boys, Justin and Rett are lucky to have so many boy cousins,  Justin has a matching vest with  Jamen and Jace (in our ward) that was fun for him.

He looks like a chubby bubby here, he hardly slept a wink all through church.  He did have a good nap this afternoon, it was a big day for him!

Our family seems so big now!  That is a lot of little kids!  We are so fortunate!

Thankfully Mom and Dad came to help with all of the details (food).  Dad also got my garden planted including over 200 strawberry plants!  I cant wait for them to grow!  Thanks Mom and Dad!  What a perfect weekend!

Rett’s Blessing

Today was Rett’s special Blessing Day.  His outfit fit him perfectly.  I was so excited to get  a shorts outfit for him because it was almost the 1st of June, so it would (should) be warm, well it snowed this morning!  I cant believe this weather!  ANYWAY, I got some pictures of his cute little self in his blessing outfit.

Visitors

We had some early morning visitors right in our front yard.  It was foggy so you cant see them very well, but you can see there outline.  They were pretty scraggly looking, but still fun for us to see while we were waiting for the bus.

Ashley Playing the Chimes

Ashley’s Class played a little tune to a story in her class last week.  The school had an open house and her class played the chimes.  She did a great job!

Branding 2011

We branded the calves on Saturday, well I didn’t but everyone else did, including Ashley.  She is a true cowgirl at heart!  She went down early with Ryan to gather all the cows and fell off of her horse.  She was pretty sad still when I got there, mainly because she fell in a cow pie and her sweater was covered in horse hair!  She wasn’t fazed too much though and is ready to help with round 2 on Friday.  Crazy girl!

Kegan was having fun trying to rope on the ground.  He could catch quite a few with one heel so no one paid much attention until he caught doubles.  It was so funny to see everyone hollering and running up to help him drag it up!  It was fun!

It was the BEST weather we have ever had for a branding.  It was nice and there was a slight breeze.  Last year it snowed, the year before that it was 90 degrees and the rattle snakes were OUT!  We were glad to have a perfect day for working cattle!

First Smiles

Rett is smiling more and more, I never did get a plain old smile out of him just big open mouth ones.  Ryan even got him giggling this morning!  He is so much more happy these days.  He only has bad days here and there, instead of everyday!  He is getting big!

Idaho History Day

Ashley’s 4th grade class had their Idaho History Day today.  They had all sorts of booths making butter, ice cream, learning to tie knots, crafts, and roping.

They also got a wagon ride and an auction where they got to use their Idaho Bucks that they have been earning all year.

 

We didn’t get to stay all day, only as long as Rett would allow.  Claire enjoyed the park and Justin was at Pre-K.

I even tried roping a little bit, Ashley took my picture.

She didn’t want me to leave but it was a bit cold for the baby and he was screaming mad when he finally woke up so we went home.

Ashley really wanted the slip n slide from the auction, but ended up with a fun game instead, but the really cool thing was she won the grand prize drawing!  It was a $25 gift card to the mall!  We are SO going shopping!  YEAH ASH!
