Sleepy Boy

Rett would take a nap every day, but I like him to go to bed when the kids do, so I don’t let him….. if I can help it!  Sometimes he just crashes at the nearest soft spot!

He fell asleep twice in one week on a kitchen chair.

Donut Party

Our donut party was a success, we had around 90 guests!  Needless to say we ran out of donuts!  But not friends!

TROUBLE, OUCH!

Rett is obsessed with my branches and vase.  I am surprised they aren’t broken! 

I was just leaving to go to Relief Society Meetings and Ryan was getting his jammies on.  He was on his bed backing away from Ryan because he didn’t want to get his jammies on and he fell off and scratched his back on the way down.  It was horrible!  I felt so bad, and of course had to leave right when it happened.

I hope it doesn’t scar, It looks like a bear got him!  BOO!

Last of the Cheer Season

Ashley finished off her cheer season with a dance to the new eye of the tiger. She loves cheer and dance.  She really does well at it.  It has been a fun year!  She is front middle.

I always quiz the kids during Sunday dinner about their lessons and the talks.  While I was quizzing Justin and Claire were thinking of other things….

Bill Coffey’s Birthday Party

We love our adopted grandma and grandpa!  Bill just keeps having birthdays and we think its great!  He is quite and amazing person, we are glad to know him and call him ours!

What a great day, for a great man!

Coeur d’Alene Trip

We made our way to Spokane for our annual Northwest Farm Credit meetings.  This year the meetings were at the Coeur d'Alene resort.  We have stayed there once before, it is a great place. 

In the streets they have these giant feathers, by the time I got the camera out to take the picture we got to the last one and it had been knocked over, but they are giant feathers!

At the resort there is a huge fish tank with big ol fish in it.  We were like kids watching those monsters!  They were quite fascinating!

The morning view out to the lake, a snow storm came in which was good, the fog cleared off and we had a beautiful view!

This time Ryan upgraded us to a corner room with a fireplace!  It was fun until we couldn’t get the fire to turn off!  It wasn’t too hot, it was just to bright to try and sleep with.  Being the MacGyver that he is, he got a hanger out of the closet and reached into the fire to turn the valve off!?  Crazy man!

The kids are getting really anxious to fly so I tried to take a few pictures in flight, and of the plane.  It made them want to fly even more!  I am not a real fan of flying….  maybe we just don’t do it enough?   But it makes me nervous, and annoyed every time!

It was a great trip as always!  They wine and dine us and Ryan really enjoyed the meetings.  I really enjoyed the shopping!  Until next year!

I guess with all the other types of social media, blogging is getting left in the dust!  I am going to have to do better than once every 6 weeks because I forget why I took the picture!
