Sunday night activities

We are thoroughly enjoying having our cousins closer to us! On Sunday Bob and Sara came for Sunday dinner and stayed the afternoon, there was lots of hiding under pillows:

And of course our Sunday afternoon show, it was nice to have some new faces in it this week!

We are so glad to have Jaci living so close now, and boy can she boogie!

You might be a red neck....

We saw this driving home from Twin Falls on Saturday, it is a couch on top of this little car! I was laughing so hard! Crazy people!

Farming Weekend

This weekend we went down to Agri Action in Twin Falls, it is a fun day for us to spend with Dad. The kids enjoyed climbing in every tractor they could, you would have thought they had never seen, or ridden in a tractor before in their lives, they were pretty excited. The highlight of it had to be the pony though, I wanted to bring him home, and of course I didn't take any pictures of him... Ashley had to get all of her "cowgirl" gear on, she is such a fashion diva!

Emma on the other hand would have liked to have gone in her PJ's, I have to physically dress my 6 year old still!

Claire just kept saying "on" She wanted on everything too, hence the HUGE smile when she got to drive this little tractor, oh and she LOVED the pony!

More tractors

One BIG loader...What a load!

Valentine Candy

I couldn't resist all of the Valentine candy at the store yesterday, Justin cant resist it today....

Can you tell which were his favorites, the Dove chocolates are already all gone!

Check out these grapes!

My kids LOVE grapes, (thanks to Grandma Violet, she always has a bowl full when they come over), I found these I think at Walmart, they were HUGE, and the girls had fun being silly, well until they started choking on them! Crazy kids!

Ashley takes 2nd Place!

Ashley's class had a little contest of who could write from 1 to 100 the fastest and she got second place! She was so excited, we were surprised, Ashley does most things very slow, but really well, so this was a good thing for her and a big boost to her confidence. Her prize was a timer for reading time, she always (seriously everyday) sets the kitchen timer for 30 minutes and does her reading so now she has her own, a perfect prize for her, she was thrilled! Way to go Ash!!

Tuesday

This morning we had a hard time rolling out of bed. Ryan was gone by 7:15 but the rest of us weren't doing to hot! The girls did make it on the bus on time though, Justin on the other hand slept until 8:30! We are supposed to be at exercising at 8:30 but I still had to drag him out of bed. We went to the girls basketball game last night and it was long and we didn't get home til 9:45. I think that is why all the kids were so tired! No more of that staying out late business for us! Ryan went to a cereal school, sounds funny, it is a grain growers school with Bob and after exercise we stopped in on Sara to help with the unpacking. We aren't too much help though because Justin just taunts poor Jaci and makes her cry most of the time, needless to say we are back home trying to take naps this afternoon. I am excited for Biggest Loser tonight, it has been an exciting season already! Just kind of boring around here today.

Brr It's Cold!

My water is frozen and only the suburban would start this morning, so what else is there to do but update the blog! Its amazing the things you cant do when you don't have water...the things I take for granted! Our fancy new pump house shed isn't insulted quite enough for 2 degree weather I guess. I went out and turned up the heater so it should be thawed out soon. Since the suburban was the only car running Ryan had to take it, (because he forgot to plug in his work pickup), he tried to take Bobby's van which is parked at our house right now and it didn't want to start in the cold either! You would think with the used car lot that we run outside that there would be something to drive, but no such luck, my ford pickup is in Arco and the duramax is in twin at the dealer, I am left with Ryan's work pickup which should start by now.....like I said we are a used car lot! I need to stay home anyway and get some house work done.
We enjoyed a quiet Sunday the kids were exhausted and all went to bed early and slept in late, that is really weird for Ashley, I think she is finally getting over her cold. They enjoyed keeping score of the Superbowl, Emma kept asking if her team won or not, we told her they did a couple of times, when I got her out of bed this morning she asked again who won, crazy girl! I better get a move on Bobby and Sara are going to be here this afternoon to get moved in, I should post some pictures of the changes in the vintage farm house, it turned out cute! (for them at least, Ryan asked me if I wanted to move back, I politely DECLINED!!!)

The Last week of January

Went by in a blurr...Monday was a snow day..at least I think it was, then Tuesday Ashley was sick and needed to stay home but I had dentist appointments so she went with me, and Ryan, we both had to go into Twin to drop off the pickup (it was having a new seat installed in front so it can fit all six of us, which at Ryan's request I will be posting a picture of his new pickup sometime) Ashley ended up having a great day off and it has been hard for Emma to go to school every day since Ash got a day off and she didn't, oh Emma and her drama!
Wednesday I think was preschool and a birthday party for one of the preschool Moms that was fun. Then the rest of the week we spent helping Ryan's brother Bobby get his house ready to be moved into. Yes we will be having cousins and family living close! I am excited, they are moving into our first home which is just 2 miles south of where we live now. It is a little old farm house (which I like to call vintage, or antique, it sounds a little better) So it has needed a lot of work, fun work, like carpet, paint, etc. Grandma Telford spent Thursday and Friday at my house watching all of the kids and I even got to go help, which I LOVED! Thank you Grandma! They are moving in today and my kids cant hardly wait to have Jaci and Tayson so close, it will be a party all the time now!
Saturday I did get a little work done at my own house which we needed, we shampooed the carpets and then left for the rest of the day so I could keep the kids off of them. Ryan went snowmobiling with a few of the brothers and had a great time. So that was the week in a BIG nutshell! Here are a couple of pictures from the busy week:

Claire hiding out in her closet, she is so quiet that I have to remember to go find her, she is saying cheese. ( her arm warmers I made out of girls knee high socks, so easy and fun)

Ashley practicing piano, she is too cute, we are going to be in trouble! Notice the cute arm warmers! ( FYI they are baby legs that I won off of EBay, I have found that they also sell them at Target, when they aren't all sold out)

Justin with his 'Line up' He just loves Lightning McQueen!

Pretty proud of himself and his super cool cars!

And last but definitely not least EMMA, I think she grew a inch or two this week, I have a hard time keeping her filled up! She is getting so big!

Saturday morning cartoons

I found the kids in the living room like this Saturday morning, I didnt even have to caox them into this position, they were snuggling all by themselves, I guess they really do love each other...or maybe they just love cartoons!
