We have been hoping and praying for some moisture this spring. We have had lots of wind and cold, but no rain. There has been rain all around, but none for us, we are getting really nervous for farming this summer. We had the potato rows that were marked out last fall disked under. No potatoes in Richfield this summer, which is a big bummer.
This morning it started spitting snow and rain, like it has in the past and I thought it wouldn’t amount to much again. But this afternoon it really started to snow! We were so excited. Claire dug out all of her snow clothes and got to business!
It was to bright to open her eyes!
I just love my tree. It is such a pretty little Russian Olive. Usually a wild unruly tree, but ours has been taken care of when it was younger and is the perfect back yard tree. We love it, and it looked especially pretty in a coat of white! We are hoping for more moisture still!

we went from 69% snow pack to 85% in a week. Well when you don't get a lot of moisture it is pretty easy to get all your snow in one or two storms
I'm so glad both of you are getting the moisture your mountains and meadows need. Hopefully more rain for you to keep crops growing and wildfires under control!
Cute Claire. It's such a change not to worry about moisture (except to worry for those of you out west). We've had 4 inches of rain this week.
