Sunday Shots

It has been over a week since I have made cookies, can you believe that.  Everyone was happy to help me make them.  Rett ate the chocolate chips.

He got flour up his sleeves and then it was everywhere of course.  He had some chocolate chips loaded on his truck, they taste better that way.

We had a nice Sunday.  We had a fireside for the Women and Young Women in the ward.  We did that Beautiful presentation by Jenny Phillips.  It was really good.  We had lots of ladies come.  When I got home there was a bull elk hanging from the loader in the yard?  The neighbors were chopping their corn and hit it with the chopper, it chopped three of its legs off.  Ryan was DEVISTATED to have to shoot it… yeah right.  He was grinning from ear to ear!  The neighbor and his son were skinning it and going to have it butchered.  It was sad to see its poor legs chopped off.  The kids were all excited for that scene, they have never seen a cow or deer strung up like that before.  Ashley was about in tears.  They did call the fish and game to tell them what had happened so hopefully no one will go to jail over it!  It took a long time to get everyone settled down for bed.  We were tired and late this morning, imagine that!
