Emma brought home some cute school work that she did today, there was part of a sentence and then a picture at the end, she had to finish the sentence by looking at the picture, each one of the pictures was of a kid playing a sport this is how she finished two of the sentences. (She was so proud that she had done it ALL BY HERSELF)
Han plays Sokr bol (soccer ball)
Tony plays Bascit bol (basketball)
She spells things just like they sound I guess! The worst part about it is her dad would see no problem in her spelling, he spells the same way she does! I just love to see my kids learn to read and write. It is amazing and so exciting to me. Too cute! Way to go Emma!

Story time
Today Justin got to go to Story time down at the Shoshone library. We had a good time, we read stories, sang songs, colored, and had a snack. He had a good time and loved singing all of the songs. He is growing up so much and loves to haul around his 'dirt bike'. The girls are doing well in school also, Ash had her second piano lesson Monday, and passed off all of her songs. She likes piano and her teacher is great. Emma is doing well too. She is trying to stay off of the time out stool in Kindergarten. She was on it yesterday but somehow cant remember why? Oh Emma she is something else! Claire is great, I feel like I am playing house with her. She is a dream. First of all she is so cute she looks like a doll, and then she is so sweet and good that I am happy to have her around me. I hope she always stays so sweet. I dont want to think of what I will be typing about her in about a year (terrible two year old). Things are good in the Telford house this week!

ROAD TRIP
Monday morning I jumped out of bed, got the kids all ready for school and the little ones up and dressed and as soon as the bus came I left too! I took Claire with me and Ryan kept Justin (and dropped him off at his Moms) I went to Kristen's and we drove to Boise for the day! It was such a good time. We shopped till we dropped, not quite, but almost. We were like total hicks from the sticks gawking at all of the ginormous shopping malls and were just giggling with glee at all of the 'good deals' we were finding! It was fun to have some girl time and just get away for a day. I feel re-charged in a tired sort of way! I was so exausted when we got home, shopping is hard work! My husband agrees, that's why he never goes! I had a super fun day and cant wait to do it again!

Temple Trip
We went to the Temple Saturday night, we actually went together, like a date! Woo hoo! I made Des take pictures of us to prove that it really happened; WE WENT ON A DATE!! A real date too, not just a trip out to check water, or to put away cows, it was a date complete with dinner! I know you must be wondering what brought on this wonderful event, and I must give credit where credit is due, thank you SNOW! I LOVE SNOW! (for a day at least) (those are not just spots on the camera, it really did snow, a lot!)
It was so nice to give us a little break in between harvestings, I have really enjoyed the time with my husband it has been nice. We had snow for a day and a half, all day Saturday and most of Sunday. It dropped more than a foot south of us in the Burley area! Crazy! It was all gone by about Monday morning, which is good, but it was nice to have a little slow down in the mix of all of this dead run we have been on. Yes we FINISHED the potatoes, just in the nick of time, seriously! We had a really nice time at the Temple, it was Ryan's first time to go to our new Twin Falls Temple, we enjoyed it. Aaron and Des went along with us. I feel like we should be done with harvest but we aren't, on to the BEET digging! Boo hoo!
(isnt the Temple pretty, even the bricks on the walk way are pretty! I love having our Temple SOOOO close! We are so fortunate!)

The End is in Sight!
Potato Harvest on the Arco farm should finish today! YEAH! I cant believe we are finally getting here! Not a moment too soon either, it is supposed to rain this afternoon and a good chance of SNOW tomorrow. I cant believe it, snow already? We started harvesting September 8th and are still not finished down on the farm, hopefully they will finish there Saturday. So it has been over a month of POTATOES! Now we can get started on the Beets, YUCK! I am not ready for more harvest. Good thing it isn't up to me or we would have quit a LONG time ago! I just called Ryan he has been staying up in Arco this week because they are baling in the night, can we do ANY more harvesting at one time? I don't know how he can keep at it and not get so exhausted. We will all be happy to see him tonight. Hopefully we will get to see him tonight, you never know. I am very excited for them to finish, and very nervous that something is going to break down or bad weather or something to make them not be able to finish. I am praying like crazy that we will get this all done TODAY! OH the joys of farming!

Claire is a BIG girl!
Claire has finally out grown her baby car seat so I purchased her a new car seat yesterday, (since Justin hasn't out grown the next size up car seat). She is thrilled with it. She even rode in it in the shopping cart! I brought it in the house to get it all adjusted for her size and she climbed all around in it and even drank her bottle in it. She really likes it. She was excited this morning when I put her in it to go to Mommy School. She is so cute! She did take one spill in it, she was standing up in it and it tipped and she landed right on her nose, it even bled a little bit, you can see in the last picture. It didn't stop her from loving her new ride though! My baby is growing up!

Trip to the Pumpkin Patch
On Saturday we took a little trip up to Idaho Falls to visit some of our cousins and also to go to a really fun pumpkin patch. Paige, and a friend Katie, and I, drove from Arco and we met Jenna and Tyler and Lain with their kids. It was so fun to get together with everyone. We went to lunch and let the kids play in kiddie land, which was good because it was pretty cold and a bit rainy. They had a great time catching up with our cousins who we haven't seen since the first of this year. (They had been living in Hawaii all summer, lucky ducks!) Anyway it was sure fun to see them and the twins are growing so big! Ashley and Emma couldn't get enough of Alaina and Justin and Caden were great chums too! It was nice that the weather was bad because we were the only ones at the pumpkin patch so the kids just ran in the straw bale maze and picked their pumpkins and then we came home. It was a fun time, I am so glad we could all make it and we missed the girls who didn't get to come too! Maybe next time!Me and the kids

Happy Birthday Dad
Happy Birthday Dad! I'm so glad you were born this day! You are an excellent Dad and Grandpa! Thank you so much for always giving and supporting me in everything I have done. I am so grateful that you taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ, and helped me to gain a Testimony of the Him. You are such a great Dad, you and Mom know how to parent, I always wonder what you did to be such good parents, and I wish that I could be as good as you are at it! I have always felt loved from you and appreciate that so much, thanks for all that you do for us, I love you!
